The Garden, the multi-award winning production company behind hit shows such as 24 Hours in A&E and 24 Hours in Police Custody, has announced that Chief Executive and Co-Founder Magnus Temple is stepping down after 11 years.

The latest episode of 24 Hours in Police Custody proved to be a roller-coaster of emotions for viewers, with a gunman ‘failed by the system’ with his mental health leaving viewers heartbroken.

The first episode of the latest series of The Garden’s stalwart beat BBC1, with 2.1m viewers and an 11.2% share, also defeating Channel 4’s 1.3m (7%) slot average, and 16-24 share nearly doubled to 17.3%.
