24 Hours in A&E is to restart production in Tooting later this year, with the proposed staggered filming move out of the capital put on ice due to Covid-19. The Garden is to return to St George’s Hospital this autumn after working closely with its parent ITV Studios and Channel 4 to put together a rigorous set of protocols to ensure the production can be made safely.

These include the use of production ‘cohorts’ to minimise interaction between team members, redesigning its production village to allow for social distancing and one-way systems, and enhancing and expanding its decontamination processes.
