BBC commissions two more Simon Reeve series from The Garden

Simon Reeve is set to return to BBC2 with two new series made by The Garden and executive produced by Sam Bagnall.

Scandinavia with Simon Reeve (w/t) will follow Simon as he explores the region, uncovering secrets from the Arctic to the Baltic and meeting the people who live in what has become one of the most important frontiers of Europe. The series has been commissioned by Joanna Carr and Gian Quaglieni.

Wilderness with Simon Reeve will return for a second outing, after a first run that was the highest-rating BBC2 series in any genre since the end of 2022. Four new episodes will take viewers to more of the world’s most remote and beautiful wildernesses: places where nature still has the upper hand. Simon will meet the people who live in these extreme and often hostile environments and seek out the iconic wildlife that still survives in our last great wild places.

The Both series of Wilderness have been commissioned by Jack Bootle and Tom Coveney.
